This week's nominees for Tool of the Week include Patriots back-up quarterback Ryan Mallett. Listeners nominated him for what they consider an unacceptable performance in the teams first preseason game. Dean Blandino is also on the ballot after the head of NFL officials was caught on the party bus with Cowboys owner Jerry Jones in Las Vegas...

This week's nominees include Red Sox pitcher Clay Buchholz for not being able to put it together on the mound, and his apparent disinterest in turning it around. Listeners have also nominated golfer Dustin Johnson and the PGA for not being forthright about his failed drug test and suspension.....or leave of absence.

The ballot is out and it's Chris Archer vs. Roger Goodell in the General Rental Tool of the Week voting.

This weeks nominees are Texas Rangers pitcher Colby Lewis who pitched a fit when the Blue Jays laid down a bunt with two outs in the 5th inning. Lewis thought they were trying to show him and the team up. Mariners closer Fernando Rodney is also on the ballot for shooting his imaginary arrow that normally comes after he closes a game...

This week's nominees are Carmello Anthony who visited other teams as a free agent because he wanted to "win"....then re-signed with the Knicks. Andrew Robert Rector is the other nominee. He's the Yankee fan who is suing ESPN, its announcers and the Yankees after jokes were made about him as he slept during a Red Sox Yankees game.

Voting was not necessary for this week's honor of General Rental Tool of the Week which goes to Luis Suarez of team Uruguay.

Two nominees are up for Tool of the Week voting and include David Ortiz of the Boston Red Sox.

This week's nominees are Palisades High School in California who has decided to let NBA outlaw Ron Artest - aka - Metta World Peace work as an assistant coach with their girls basketball team. Tommy Lineberry is the other name on the ballot. He is the golf cart driver at last weeks U.S. Open who drove over the foot of a State Trooper and was arrested for OUI.

This week's nominees are the Orioles Manny Machado for "allegedly" throwing the bat at A's pitcher Fernando Abad. Machado goes against California Chrome co-owner Steve Coburn for his post Belmont Stakes tirade.
