David Krejci’s Late Goal Lifts Bruins Past Senators
David Krejci scored with 45 seconds remaining to lift the Bruins to a 3-2 victory over the Ottawa Senators at TD Garden on Saturday.
Krejci’s tip-in goal extended Boston's point streak to 19 games. The Bruins are 15-0-4 over that stretch and they have now won 10 straight home games.
Brad Marchand scored a power-play goal for the Bruins at 10:11 of the second period, putting Boston ahead 1-0.
Ottawa then took a 2-1 lead with goals by Jean-Gabriel Pageau and Brady Tkachuk.
Chris Wagner tipped a Torey Krug wrist shot to tie the game, 2-2, at 8:47 of the third period.
The Bruins improved to 42-17-9, while the Senators fell to 23-40-6.
