Eagles Begin NAC Play With Sweep

The Husson Eagles couldn't script a better opening night in North Atlantic Conference play, a sweep of Thomas College. The Eagles men's team won 89-62. The women's team scored a 64-34 victory.

Warren Caruso's men put 11 different players in the score column. Brooks Spaulding led with 23 points. The Eagles shot 46% from the floor and out-rebounded Thomas 44-29. Kissy Walker's women's team handled Thomas College 64-34. That gives her Eagles team a  2-1 record.

13 players scored points, including a team high 12 from Victoria McIntyre and 11 from freshman Chandler Guerette.
