Red Sox starter Nathan Eovaldi is back on the 10- day injured list after a MRI revealed 'two loose bodies' in his elbow. The guy who has already had two 'Tommy John' surgeries may need more surgery.

Eovaldi will see a doctor on Monday to determine the next step.

'Loose bodies' is described as bone and/or cartilage that break free within a joint and can float around. Eovaldi had this same thing early in the season with Tampa Bay. He recovered from arthroscopic surgery, pitched well, and got traded at the deadline to the Red Sox.

Eovaldi had 'Tommy John' surgery in high school and again in 2016. The doctor who did the surgery in 2016 is the doctor he will see on Monday.

During the off-season, the Sox signed Eovaldi to a four-year, $67.5M contract.

NOTE:  The Sox go for a sweep over Tampa Bay today. Live coverage on Sports Radio 92.9 The Ticket starts at 1:10pm.
