The Boston Celtics connection of Kemba Walker and Jayson Tatum helped lead Team USA to an opening round win FIBA World Cup in China. The U.S team beat the Czech Republic 88-67.

Walker scored 13 points on 6-for-8 shooting, he had four assists and a steal.

Tatum hit on two three-pointers out of the gate and finished with 20 points.

Marcus Smart and Jaylen Brown are also part of Team USA.

Next on the schedule is Turkey, Tuesday morning at 8:30am eastern time. It will be the second of three games in pool play.
