Husson Vs E.Conn State: 1st Round NCAA

The Husson Eagles leave Bangor early this morning bound for Plattsburgh, New York and the NCAA Division-3 tournament. The 26-2 Eagles will meet Eastern Connecticut State Friday evening in their first round game.

Coach Warren Caruso's team is North Atlantic Conference champ. The Warriors (22-6) are from the Little East Conference, losing to Rhode Island College in the conference championship game but received an at-large bid to the NCAA's.

Husson and Eastern Conn State have never met on the basketball floor.

5:30 p.m. - Eastern Connecticut State vs. Husson
7:30 p.m. - Plattsburgh State vs. MIT

Saturday, March 8
7 p.m. - Winner of game one vs. Winner of game two
