IT Loses All Star Starter Spot On Tie-Breaker

Boston Celtics all everything guard Isaiah Thomas will not be a starter in next month's NBA All Star Game. He lost to Toronto's DeMar DeRozan on a tie-breaker vote.

Thomas beat DeRozan on a player vote and a media vote but lost the fan vote. The NBA counts the fan vote as a tie-breaker.

DeRozan got about 41,000 more votes.

Thomas seems like a lock to be named a reserve all star when that list is released January 26th.

• LeBron James, Cavaliers

Western Conference Starters

• Stephen Curry, Warriors
• Anthony Davis, Pelicans
• Kevin Durant, Warriors
• James Harden, Rockets.
