World Series Championship parade day for the Boston Red Sox begins with the news that David Price is staying put. He will not exercise his opt-out clause in his contract.

Price made the announcement on the field at Fenway during a pep rally just before the Duck Boat rolling rally began through the streets of Boston.

That means Price will continue to collect the $127-million-dollars left on his contract over the next four years.
