Rubby De La Rosa is the next great, young prospect to get the callup from the Boston Red Sox. The righthander takes over the rotation spot of injured Clay Buchholz and will start against Tampa Bay Saturday night.

De La Rosa was part of that big trade with the LA Dodgers two years ago when the Sox shipped Adrian Gonzalez, Josh Beckett and Carl Crawford to west coast.

At triple-A Pawtucket, De La Rosa is 2-3 with a 3.04 ERA. He has 52 K's and 23 BB in 53.1 innings.

Buchholz is on the 15-day disabled list and the Sox elected to try De La Rosa over Pawsox starter Allen Webster.
