How much worse can it get for Rick Porcello? After losing to Toronto 10-4 on Labor Day night he has lost a career-high 16 losses. He gave up three more home runs and that's 35 for the season. Porcello left the game after 5.1 innings, giving up 10 hits and seven runs.

And, just as bad as Porcello is the Sox offense. Another night of stranding 10 runners and going 3-for-14 with runners in scoring position.

The Red Sox have lost four of their last five games and the lead over the Yankees in the AL East is just 2.5 games.

Game two of their series with Toronto tonight with Eduardo Rodriguez on the hill.
