2016 SLWS Returns to Bangor, July 31- August 6
Little League Baseball has announced the Senior League World Series baseball tournament will return to Mansfield Stadium in Bangor in 2016. It will be the 15th year for the international tourney in Maine.
The SLWS event is for players ages 14 through 16. Five international team, four teams from around the U.S.and a local team make up the 10-team field.
Little League says the SLWS will run from July 31st through August 6th in Bangor.
Back in August, the Old Town allstar team won the right to play in the event for the first time.
