Elliott Sets New PVC Triple Jump Mark

Bangor High School junior Alyssa Elliott set a new mark in the girls triple jump event at the EMITL/PVC meet at the UMaine Fieldhouse.

Elliott jumped 38-feet-00, surpassing the mark she set last year (37-feet-7.25). That record had stood for 32 years.

She also won the long jump event with a distance of 16-09.75.
