Veteran Jim Furyk posted a PGA record score of 58 Sunday at the Travelers Championship in Connecticut and Maine's Mike 'Fluff' Cowan was his caddy. Furyk is one of six golfers to shoot a 59 but never in the history of the PGA Tour had any player had a 58 - until today. His 58 score is 12-under par. Furyk had 10 birdies, one eagle and seven pars. Cowan, a Winslow HS grad and a mulit-sport athlete at Lawrence HS in Fairfield, has been Furyk's caddy since 1999. He has caddied on the tour for 40 years. He caddied for Tiger Woods in his first Masters win in 1997. Furyk finished the tournament tied 5th place after starting the day in 70th place.
