UMaine defensive lineman Pat Ricard did not get selected in the NFL Draft but he did get the call he wanted after the draft. The Baltimore Ravens have signed him to an undrafted free agent contract(UDFA).

On his twitter page, Ricard said "...I couldn't be happier! Can't wait to get started"!

Ricard, from Spencer, Massachusetts, was a CAA all-conference first teamer last season. He was in on 50 tackles. In his 44 game career for the Black Bears Ricard, Ricard recorded 208 tackles.

Ricard is one of 16 free agents signed by the Ravens after the draft. Only one other free agent is a defensive lineman and during the draft, the Ravens had seven picks with only one a DL.
