Bangor Awaits Either Bronco Or Holbrook

The Bangor Senior League all star baseball team is just one win away from the upcoming World Series at Mansfield Stadium. Bangor got past the Bronco LL team, winning 2-1 and earning the right to play in the District #3 championship game Tuesday.

The seven team district tourney field is down to just three teams now. Bronco LL plays Holbrook tonight with the loser eliminated and the winner set to take on Bangor Tuesday evening in the championship round.

Sportsradio 92.9 The Ticket will broadcast championship night live beginning at 6PM. If there is an "if necessary" game at 7:30PM, The Ticket will broadcast that game as well.

The District #3 winner will automatically go to the Senior League World Series which begins this weekend at Mansfield Stadium. Nine other teams from around the world compete for the championship in the 14 to 16-year-old division of Little League baseball.

Opening ceremonies at Mansfield are set for 7:15PM Saturday evening August 10th. Game action begins Sunday August 11th at noon.

Sportsradio 92.9 The Ticket will provide extensive live play-by-play coverage of the world series starting with the Host team vs Canada game Sunday at noon.
