After missing 16 games with a rib injury, Boston Bruins center Patrice Bergeron returned to the lineup in a big way Saturday afternoon. He scored twice and added two assists in a 5-2 over the Nashville Predators.

Bergy joins the 300 goal club and becomes just the 6th Bruins player to reach that mark.

The B's have now won three in a row and six of their last eight.

David Pastrnak and Brad Marchand both had a goal and two assists.

Jaroslav Halak made 29 saves for  his third straight win in goal.

The B's are 20-12-4 and play at Carolina on Sunday and then the NHL shuts down for the three day Christmas break.
