Bruins Pond Hockey On 92.9 The Ticket [VIDEO]

For the third time since the NHL Winter Classic began 11 years ago, the Boston Bruins are one of the participants when they faceoff today against the Chicago Blackhawks on the outdoor ice at Notre Dame Football Stadium in South Bend, Indiana.

Remember the B's played an outdoor game at Fenway Park and at Gillette Stadium in Foxboro. Their record is 1-1 playing pond hockey.

The 21-14-4 Bruins will start Tuukka Rask in goal. The B's are tied for the last wildcard spot at the moment but are getting many of their injured players back.

The 15-20-6 Blackhawks are struggling near the bottom of the Western Conference.
