Boston Bruins coach Bruce Cassidy will coach the Atlantic Division team in the NHL All Star Game on January 25th in St. Louis. It will be a first-time thing for Cassidy.

He earns the right to coach by virtue of his Bruins having a 24-7-11 record.

Cassidy will have two Bruins players with him at the All Star Game - David Pastrnak and Tuuka Rask.

The tournament format will be four divisional teams, playing a 3-on-3 format.

It is interesting to note that after losing in 3-on-3 overtime last night, the Bruins are now 2-11 in 3-on-3 overtimes or shootouts so far this year.
