The Pawtucket Red Sox are adding some Seadogs talent for the Triple-A International League Championship series. Outfielder Rusney Castillo, plus lefty pitchers Brian Johnson and Eduardo Rodriguez all get promoted to the Pawsox.

The series vs the Durham Bulls (Tampa Bay Rays affiliate) starts tonight.

Castillo is the newly signed Cuban outfielder. The Red Sox are trying to get him as many minor league at bats as possible before bringin him to Fenway Park.

Johnson went 10-2 and had an ERA of 1.75 with the Seadogs. That is the lowest ERA in the Eastern League since 1985. Johnson will start game two in place of Matt Barnes who was called up Monday by the Red Sox.

Rodriguez was acquired from the Baltimore Orioles in the Andrew Miller trade deadline deal July 31st. He went 3-1 with a 0.96 ERA in six starts with the Seadogs.
