Chris Sale Named AL Starter [VIDEO]
Red Sox ace Chris Sale will get the start in Tuesday night's MLB All Star Game in Washington D.C. It is his third consecutive start for the American League.
And, Nationals pitcher Max Scherzer will be the starter for the National League for the second straight year.
As a matter of fact, the last time two pitchers started in back-to-back All Star games it was Red Ruffing and Paul Derringer back in 1939-40.
The only other pitchers to make three straight All Star starts - Hall of Famers Robin Roberts and Lefty Gomez.
