Perhaps that 65-yard first quarter touchdown run by Washington's Steven Sims made the New England Patriots defense angry. Sims never gained another yard while the Patriots put up 27 unanswered points.

The Pats score a 33-7 win over the Redskins and move to 5-0.

The defense has now allowed just 20 points in the five wins.

Sunday afternoon the Patriots defense had five sacks, eight tackles for a loss, eight quarterback hits. The D also had an interception and a fumble recovery.
