Two Boston Red Sox minor league players received weekly honors by their minor league organizations on Monday afternoon.

Rafael Devers was named the Eastern League Player of the Week for his efforts with the Double-A Portland Sea Dogs, while Brian Johnson took home the Pitcher of the Week for the International League with the Triple A Pawtucket Red Sox.

Johnson picked up the honor with a victory in a game versus Syracuse last Tuesday.  He went eight innings, allowing one run on two hits in the 3-1 win.  On the season Johnson has a 2.28 ERA and is scheduled to pitch again on Tuesday versus Scranton.

Former Red Sox farmhand Yoan Moncada earned the International League Player of the Week by hitting .500 and scoring eight runs with Charlotte in the White Sox organization.
