Maine’s Murphy 17th At Olympics

Bethel, Maine Olympic skier Troy Murphy finished 17th in the Men's Moguls Freestyle event in South Korea today.

Murphy's score was 72.72.

Canadian Mikael Kingsbury won the gold medal with a score of 86.63. Casey Andringa was the top U.S. finisher (5th place).

The 25-year-old Murphy is from Bethel and graduated from Gould Academy.

He entered the Olympic Games as the #6 skier in the world in the Moguls event.
