Undrafted rookie WR Jakobi Myers and rookie QB Jarrett Stidham were among the standouts as the New England Patriots started the preseason schedule with a 31-3 pasting of the Detroit Lions.

Myers, the NC State rookie caught touchdown passes from Brian Hoyer and Stidham. He caught six passes for 69 yards in total.
