NEC Hands Husson First NAC Loss

While the Husson men scored a Friday night win, the women's team suffered its first loss in North Atlantic Conference play, 84-76 at New England College.

Coach Kissy Walker's team had ripped off 10 straight NAC wins until the Pilgrims put five different players in double-digit scoring. Breana Ramizez led with 13 points and 16 rebounds.

The Eagles were led by Rebecca Young with 22 points.

Put Husson's record at 10-1 in the NAC, 12-5 overall. The Eagles stay in New Hampshire to play Colby-Sawyer today.

Meanwhile, the Husson men rolled to a 103-89 win over New England College. The victory improves the Eagles conference record to 10-1, 13-4 overall.

Darryl Wood scored 20 points (8-for-10 shooting). Raheem Anderson led with 21 points.
