Patriots Release QB Hoyer, WR Thomas

The debate on how many quarterbacks will the Patriots keep is over. The answer is two - Tom Brady and Jarrett Stidham. Brian Hoyer has been released.

And, the Pats have also released veteran WR Demaryius Thomas. There are reports that they may bring him back after the dust settles on cutdown day.

UPDATE: After initially tellin WR/PR Guner Olszewski that he would be released, the Pats have told him he will make the roster.

UPDATE: Injured C David Andrews has been placed on injured reserve, meaning he will not play this season.
