It looks like Rob Gronkowski won't be back on the gridiron anytime soon. The wicked popular former tight end for the New England Patriots may soon be bringing his famous Gronk Spike back to the WWE on a more regular basis.

His first appearance with the World Wrestling Federation was in 2017 at Wrestlemania 33 surprising the crowd to help his buddy Mojo Rawley.

Today there is news from WWE on Fox that Gronkowski is close to a deal. According to a report from the Satin Sheet host Ryan Satin, we might be seeing Gronk back in the ring as early as next week on the Friday Night Smackdown from New Orleans. We hope so. Gronk always brings the party. His bigger than life lovable, mischievous personality seems like a perfect match for the WWE universe.
