Chicago Bulls point Rajon Rondo is out indefinitely with a broken thumb, according to ESPN.

Rondo broke his thumb in the second game of the series versus the Celtics on Tuesday night and the team confirmed the injury on Friday.  The guard 11 points and 14 assists in the contest, helping push the Bulls to a 2-0 lead in the series heading into Game 3 on Friday night.

Rondo had 7.8 points per contest in 69 games during the regular season, but is averaging 11.5 points through the first two games of the post-season.  Michael Carter-Williams will likely be the one replacing Rondo in the rotation.
