For the second time in the last three weeks Portland Sea Dogs pitcher Daniel McGrath has been named the Eastern League Pitcher of the Week.

All McGrath did last week was go 2-0 for the week, with an ERA of 0.69. In 13 innings McGrath allowed just one earned run while striking out 16 and walking just six.

The 25-year-old lefty from Australia is 5-0 with a 1.35 ERA for the season in 24 games. The last 12 have been starts. He was signed as an international free agent by the Red Sox back in 2012

McGrath also won the Eastern League July Pitcher of the Month award.
