The third overall pick by the Boston Celtics last June continued to impress in Summer League action.

The rivalry was renewed again for the Cs as they took on the Los Angeles Lakers out in Las Vegas.  The tickets for the game were sold out in advance of game day and featured two of the top three picks with Lonzo Ball playing for LA and Jayson Tatum suiting up for Boston. The Cs took home the win by a 86-81 score, but the story was the performance of Ball and Tatum.

Ball had a triple double of 11 points, 11 rebounds, and 11 assists to pace the Lakers, while Tatum logged another double-double with 27 points and 11 rebounds.  The forward scored 21 of his 27 points in the second half of the contest.
