Washburn – Van Buren Photos

The Class D Eastern Maine Girl's Championship was a match-up of the #2 Van Buren Crusaders vs. the #4 Washburn Beavers. Van Buren came into the game 16-4 and Washburn was 16-2. Washburn and Van Buren split on the regular season, with Van Buren winning 66-63 on December 13, 2013 and Washburn winning 61-51 on January 10, 2014. Add to that, the fact that Washburn was the 3 time defending Class D State Champion!

Today's final was all Washburn as they defeated Van Buren 74-51. Washburn will now play the Western Class D Winner between Forest Hills and Rangeley on Saturday, March 1st at the Agusta Civic Center at 1:05 PM.
