Trailing and in trouble after two periods of play in game seven, the Boston Bruins scored four times in the third period to beat the Toronto Maple Leafs 7-4 to advance to the second round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs.

Defenseman Torey Krug got the game tying goal just a minute into the third period.

Then rookie Jake DeBrusk scored the game winner four minutes later. DeBrusk had two goals in game seven and scored five in the series.

David Pastrnak added an insurance goal and Brad Marchand ended it with a empty net tally.

Tuukka Rask made 20 saves in net for the B's.

Next for the Bruins - the Tampa Bay Lightning. That best-of-seven series starts Saturday afternoon.
