Super Bowl Sunday in New England starts with a Boston Celtics buzzer-beating victory and the last second hero was Al Horford.

Playing again without Kyrie Irving, Marcus Morris, Marcus Smart and Shane Larkin the Celtics found a way to win, 97-86. That's three straight victories without those guys and this was by far the toughest opponent.

Horford finished with 22 points and 10 rebounds but it was his 15-foot fade away jumper at the buzzer that was the biggie.

Jayson Tatum added 17, Jaylen Brown had 16.

The Celts had to come from a 54-38 halftime deficit to get the win.

CJ McCollum had 22 and Damien Lillard had 21 to lead the Trailblazers.

The Celtics improve to 39-15, two games ahead of Toronto for the Eastern Conference lead. The two teams meet Tuesday night. The game is live on Sports Radio 92.9 The Ticket following high school hoops.
