Another of Gronk’s Suspected Super Bowl Robbers Found in Maine
Police have another suspect in a high profile theft which occurred during an even more high profile event.
According to WBZ-TV, the final man suspected of breaking into New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski’s house was arrested Thursday in Vacationland. 26-year-old Shayne Denn was arrested by the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office. Foxboro Police told WBZ Denn, Eric Tyrrell and Anthony Almeida allegedly broke into Rob Gronkowski’s house while the Pats faced the Eagles during the Super Bowl. According to the report, the thieves stole several items, including rare coins, watches and several guns. I've never understood the theft of items which can be traced back to a celebrity. It's like the guy who stole Lance Armstrong's customized $80,000 bike. I mean, what are you going to do with that?
In March, Tyrrell and Almeida were arrested and charged in connection with the Gronkowski burglary, according to WBZ. Denn will likely be extradited to Massachusetts to face charges related to the break-in.
