A last second jump shot by Kyrie Irving hit the rim and fell off to the left as the Miami Heat held on for a 90-89 victory over the Boston Celtics last night at Boston Garden.

What a Garden return for former C's player Kelly Olynyk. He torched the Celtics for a career-high 32 points. The Heat had only nine healthy players but found a way to beat Boston. Olynyk received a standing ovation and was also given an award for his community service work he did while a Boston player.

Meanwhile, the C's shot about 37% from the field. Al Horford fouled out of the game with eight minutes left. Rookie Jayson Tatum dislocated his pinkie finger while diving for a loose ball. He returned to play and score 11.

Irving led a last minute comeback and took the last shot at the buzzer that would have given the Celts the win. He finished with 33.

Boston is 26-8 and play the Knicks tonight at Madison Square Garden. The game is live on Sports Radio 92.9 The Ticket.
