New York's Michael Beasley kept scoring and scoring in the second half last night as the Knicks beat the Boston Celtics 102-93 at Madison Square Garden.

Beasley pumped in a season-high 32 points, 28 of them came in the second half. Celtics coach Brad Stevens had several players try to stop him and none could.

He was playing lots of minutes in place of Kristops Porzingas who went 0-for-11 shooting in his return from a knee injury.

The loss means back-to-back losses for the C's and now a 26-9 record.

Kyrie Iriving scored 32 for the Celtics. Jayson Tatum had 17.

Jaylen Brown did not play because of an achilles injury.

The Celtics are just 5-5 in their last 10 games and their lead as top team in the Eastern Conference is gone.

They play Saturday night vs Chicago before playing Washington on Christmas.
