Bruins’ Patrice Bergeron Suffers Fractured Foot

Bruins center Patrice Bergeron has a fractured right foot after blocking a shot in Saturday’s Maple Leafs game.

Bergeron, according to the team, played “through some discomfort” Saturday and initial x-rays came back negative.

A CT scan on Monday revealed the fracture.

The 32-year-old Bergeron was on crutches and in a walking boot at practice Tuesday morning.

He will be evaluated in two weeks.
