Playing on Boston Garden ice for the first time since the Stanley Cup Finals game seven loss. the Bruins whitewashed the New Jersey Devils 3-0 Saturday night.

The B's hot start to the new season continues with a 4-1 record.

A sellout crowd of 17.193 was at Boston Garden. The newly refurbished Garden is getting some kick back from fans. More seats were added and it appears some leg room was taken away.

Brad Marchand and Joakim Nordstrom scored first period goals. Patrice Bergeron added a powerplay goal in the second period.

That was more than enough for Tuukka Rask, who stopped all 31 shots coming his way. Rask  now has 46 career shutouts.

NOTE: The Bruins play their second home game of the season Monday afternoon vs the Anaheim Ducks. Live coverage on Sports Radio 92.9 The Ticket starts at 12:30pm.
