Celtics 2018 Ends On Downer [VIDEO]

2018 couldn't end soon enough for the Boston Celtics. The inconsistent C's lost in San Antonio New Year's Eve, 120-111, and Kyrie Irving suffered an injury to both eyes.

The Celtics limp home from a 1-2 roadtrip with a record of 21-15 and in 5th place in the East.

Go figure. The Celtics hold the Spurs to 46 points in the first half. San Antonio comes back to score 46 points in the third quarter alone. That included a 21-2 Spurs run that changed everything.

Too much LaMarcus Aldridge - 32 points. And, two guys named Derrick White and Bryn Forbes combined to score 37 points

Jaylen Brown had his best game of the season, scoring 30 off the bench. Marcus Morris added 18 and Kyrie Irving had 16.

But the big issue with him is a shot to the eye he took during the fourth quarter...
