The Boston Celtics are much more concerned about the injured ankle of Marcus Smart than the 121-96 loss to the Knicks in last night's final preseason game.

Smart suffered a ankle sprain just before haltime and he did not return.

The C's begin the regular season next Wednesday.

As for the game, coach Brad Stevens rested all of his starters. The Knicks did not play Carmelo Anthoney. The game was much more about the final roster spots on both teams.

For the Celtics, it appears the final spot is one up in in the air - either R.J. Hunter or James Young.
