Former Boston Red Sox and guest of the Ticket for an event back in 2014 will has his upcoming memoir become a movie, according to the Hollywood Reporter.

After winning a World Series title with both the Red Sox and Chicago Cubs, Ross’ upcoming book “My Journey In Baseball and a World Series for the Ages” (slated for a May 9th release) will be turned into a movie set for the silver screen.  According to the report, both Ram Getz and John Corcoran will be involved in the project.

Ross recently also made his debut on the reality television show “Dancing with the Stars”, donning a full Cubs uniform for his performance, and is set to become an analyst for ESPN this summer.  The film will be based on the book and focus primarily on the historic Cubs title run from the fall of 2016.
