Rookie Rafael Devers hit two solo home runs but Edwin Encarnacion ripped two 2-run homers and the Cleveland Indians beat the Red Sox 7-3 Monday night at Fenway Park. The game was a makeup game from a rainout earlier in the month.

Devers two home runs and a solo shot by Andrew Benitendi was the extent of the Sox offense.

Cleveland pitcher Trevor Bauer struck out 11 in 6.2 innings of work.

Meanwhile, Sox starter Doug Fister didn't have much on this night. Five runs on seven hits and four walks in 4.1 innings.

The Sox loss, combined with the Yankees win over the Mets means the Sox lead in the AL East is now 4.5 games.

Next up for Boston - a two game interleague series with St. Louis starting tonight.
