The Boston Bruins gave up a two goal lead and eventually lost to the Columbus Blue Jackets 5-4 in overtime Monday night.

The loss kind of spoiled the NHL debut of Ryan Donato who was playing college hockey for Harvard over the weekend and signed a pro contract on Sunday. He played well getting a goal and two assists.

But the Blue Jackets are making a playoff push and they found a way to win their eighth straight game. Cam Atkinson scored the game winner 2:55 into overtime.

The Bruins got goals for Brad Marchand, Riley Nash, David Krejci along with the Donato score.

The B's do pick a=up a point in the standings with the regulation tie. They stand 45-17-9.
