In a frustrating season for the Boston Red Sox, another frustrating game. A 2-1 loss to first place Tampa Bay in a game they had plenty of chances to win.

David Price pitched well for six innings, despite giving up a home run to the first batter he faced...

Price gave up two runs in six innings and struck out seven Rays hitters.

But Charlie Morton was a bit better for Tampa Bay. Six shutout innings and got credit for the win.

The Sox offense sputtered all day, leaving 11 runners on base and went 0-for8 with runners in scoring position.
