On this date in 1986, a young Michael Jordan went head-to-head with what many believe to be the greatest basketball team of all-time - the '86 Celtics. Though his Bulls would eventually fall in OT to a team that had five future Hall of Famers, Jordan posted a playoff-record 63 points, a mark that still stands. The performance was so incredible that after the game, Larry Bird famously said "I think it's just God disguised as Michael Jordan."

Compare that showing with LeBron's effort in 2012, which saw the Miami Heat enter the game trailing 3-2 in the Eastern Conference Finals. James quickly quieted the raucous Garden crowd and dominated with 45pts/15reb/5ast in a blowout victory that changed the course of the series and the Heat's eventual championship winning run.
