Ernie Clark picks winners for high school football Week 5
Ernie Clark is back with his surefire prognostications for Week 5 of the high school football season.
Poll: Who should Sox use as trade bait for a frontline SP?
Both Craig Breslow and Sam Kennedy vowed the Red Sox "will look to improve through every pathway," this winter, though we know one of those pathways will not be shelling out top dollar for top quality pitching.
Poll: Which top 3 pick will have the best NFL career?
While Williams and Daniels have already been handed the keys to their franchises, and could prove to be in postseason contention as early as Year 1, Maye must wait for the Patriots to surround him with a team capable of not getting him killed.
Where does Maine stand in Jeremy Swayman vs. Boston Bruins saga?
The goalie built up A TON of goodwill with us Mainers during his time in Orono. Is that goodwill being cashed in or does Sway have an endless line of credit in the Pine Tree State?
In battle of futility, why shouldn’t Pats be favored vs. MIA?
There's an opportunity here for the Patriots to pick up their second win in five weeks (admittedly more than most expected) if they can play their brand of football which we saw in the season-opening win at Cincy and at times in the home-opening loss vs. Seattle.
Poll: After one month, are the Patriots the NFL’s worst team?
As we look around the rest of the NFL after nearly four weeks of the 2024 season, is there a team out there that is currently even more uninspiring than the Pats?
Poll: What to make of another Sox season with playoff baseball?
For a team that was projected to win around 77 games and finish last place in the AL East for what would have been a third consecutive year, that can be viewed as a step in the right direction. For a team that was 10 games over .500 at the All-Star break and a team that had they simply played .500 ball in the second half would currently own the AL's 2nd Wild Card, that should be viewed as a failure.
Poll: Who will be the first NFL coach fired this season?
More importantly, could Bill Belichick be the one to take their job?
Poll: Reviewing ’21 1st Rd QBs 3 years later
In the 2021 NFL Draft, five quarterbacks were selected in the first 15 picks of the evening. It was an unprecedented run in a class heralded by some of the most well known prognosticators as the deepest collection of talent a draft had ever seen.
Poll: Is early season NFL actually a bad product?
Due to my aforementioned football addiction which will leave me watching the sport in any state, doesn't mean I'm also blinded from the fact that, yeah, most of the games through three weeks have not been the best TV product in the world.
