E-Rod Strong, Sox Beat LA [VIDEO]

Round one of the Red Sox vs Dodgers rematch goes to the Sox, 8-1. Great starting pitching from Eduardo Rodriguez and three home runs from the offense got the job done at Fenway Park Friday night.

Xander Bogaerts hit the big blast in the 7th inning, a three-run homer. Christian Vazquez and Rafael Devers added home runs. In fact, both had two hits on the night.

E-Rod was great for seven innings and picked up his 10th win. He struck out 10 Dodgers while scattering five hits and one run.

The Sox are a season-high nine games over .500 at 50-41.

Manager Alex Cora was happy that pitching and hitting clicked all night long.
