Eagles Pound Chargers
Husson University made it four wins in two days after sweeping a double-header from Colby-Sawyer by scores of 6-1 and 9-0 at the Winkin Complex.The Eagles bats pounded out 23 hits over the two games with several players getting into the act. In game one Jordan Carter had 2 hits and 2 rbi to lead the offense while Christian Corneil and Ryan Rebar each added two hits of their own.
On the mound Dan Whitney held the Chargers in-check allowing just 5 hits over 6 innings to get his first win of the season.
In game two Kyle Bishop and Brandon Gendreau had two hits each including a homerun as part of the Eagles 12 hit attack.
Brandon Reilly pitched 6 innings of 2 hit ball to get the win.
The two teams will play another double header today at the Winkin Complex starting at 12 noon.
