Any opes Patriot fans had that Vince Wilfork would re-sign with the team were dashed Monday after announcing he reached a deal with the Houston Texans.Wilfork made the announcement on his twitter account after meeting with the front office and coaching staff over the weekend. He also thanked the Kraft family and Patriots organization where he spent the first 11 years of his career.

In 158 games with the Pats he had 355 tackles including 18 sacks and 3 interceptions.
