Montreal Canadiens defenseman Jeff Petry batted the puck out of the air just 15 seconds into overtime to beat the Boston Bruins 3-2 Monday night.

The game marked the fourth and final time the two rival teams meet in the regular season. They split the head-to-head games 2-2.

The Bruins outshot the Canadiens 43-22 but it took a last minute goal by David Krejci to get the Bruins to a 2-2 score and send the game to overtime.

The (26-15-5) Bruins are in third place in their dvision, two points ahead of Montreal.
